💡REFLECTION:

The verse that resonates with me carries profound meaning. While I have a sincere desire to allocate time for prayer and devotion to the Lord, I often find myself yielding to various temptations. Unfortunately, my physical desires tend to override the intentions of my heart and mind.

Today, I humbly pray, Lord, that You persist in calling my name, gripping my heart, and gently reminding me that dedicating time to devotion is as crucial as nourishing my body with a meal. Though my spirit is willing, I acknowledge the frailty of my flesh. 

In moments of struggle like this, may I contemplate Jesus' fervent prayers to You, where he earnestly sought Your guidance and requested to be spared from sacrificing his own life. Yet, ultimately, he surrendered to Your will.

While I may not possess Jesus's unwavering obedience, I earnestly pray, like him, for Your will to be accomplished. Amen.
